Haiseal combines the ability to hold land assets long-term with a fast of foot and flexible approach to optimising land use.

Optimal land use is changing at an unprecedented rate while the processes, such as permitting, to meet changing demand have become increasingly complicated and time consuming. Haiseal is able to square these opposing forces through its flexible approach and private long-term ownership.
This way of working applies in many ways to both forest management and changing land use.
OWNERSHIP
Timberland ownership
since the 1980s.
Haiseal Timber Inc. was created around timberland investments made by the Versteegh family in the 1980s in the south-east of the US.
From the Versteegh family’s origin in the Netherlands, and later in Sweden and England where they were based when Haiseal was formed, the family has been active in the timber business for over 400 years. The current ultimate owners of Haiseal continue to be Versteegh family members, all based in Sweden.
